Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the Workbase backend platform, ensuring robustness and scalability to support thousands of users, with a strong focus on automating deployment and operational processes.
  • Design and implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) systems, enabling reliable and frequent deployment of new software updates to production environments.
  • Engage in the architecture and design of systems with a DevOps perspective, ensuring efficiency and reliability in both build and release management processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline and automate the development pipeline, focusing on infrastructure as code, configuration management, and deployment strategies to improve product delivery.



Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with automation tools and scripting languages in environments using Typescript, Node.js, or similar technologies, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD, configuration management, and infrastructure monitoring
  • English proficiency of level B1 or higher
  • EU Citizenship or EU Work Permit
  • Willingness to work on-site in Wrocław



Compensation as a DevOps Engineer

Approximate Salary: PLN 10000 - 34800 – net/month – B2B contract

Approximate Salary: PLN 8200 - 30400 – gross/month – Permanent employment contract


Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Workbase. You may also be eligible for incentives, in the form of monthly team performance bonuses (up to 35% more salary), virtual company stock (stock options), profit sharing and or long-term cash awards.

Job requirements

Preferred (but not mandatory) Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in using Typescript & NestJS within Node.js environments, with a strong emphasis on automating deployments and improving system reliability
  • Comprehensive understanding of REST APIs and Web sockets, with a focus on their integration and performance optimization in continuous deployment pipelines
  • Experience with infrastructure and services on Google Cloud, leveraging tools for automated management and scaling.Strong proficiency, apart from Typescript & NestJS, in Node.js and related backend technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the willingness and ability to rapidly learn new technologies and tool sets
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending & implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications
  • Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving team environment
